Director, Metals & Mining and Healthcare Industries

Natalia Sokolova’s focus in Victoria Global is for the Metals & Mining and Healthcare industries. She firmly advocates team experience, industry expertise and innovative programs to help drive shareholder value for clients worldwide. She also serves as Director for Investor Relations and Strategic Communications at LDJ Capital for Natural Resources.

Natalia’s experience as founder of SGG World LLC – an international consulting and advisory firm for public and private companies in the energy and natural resources sectorbrings in-depth and wide expertise to Victoria Global. She was also previously head of Marketing/ PR and IR at, the world’s largest online jewelry auction site. Her team increased the sales revenue more than 300% in a two-year period. Natalia conceptualized corporate communications before and after the quiet period and with the board of directors, IR firms, and underwriters in connection with the IPO.

Natalia started her career at the US Chamber of Commerce, International Division, European Affairs in Washington, DC. She graduated Cum Laude in 1998 with degrees in Finance and International Business from University of Maryland, College Park after surviving a life threatening car accident that left her paralyzed for several months.

Natalia is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and of the Cambridge Who is Who. In her spare time, Natalia is a dedicated philanthropist. Her event planning company, Exquisite Planning LLC , has organized many fundraisers benefiting children with mental disabilities and those of third world countries. She serves on the Board of Best Buddies Foundation and Sunflower Children.

Natalia is based in New York but spends a lot of her time traveling and nurturing established relationships with high level contacts she has acquired over the years.

Stephen Kann

Director, Microcaps

With Stephen’s more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development, and as entrepreneur, investor and advisor for dozens of tech startups, his focus in Victoria Global is to drive expertise and value for microcap companies.

His solid experience includes as Managing Director of Bridgewater Capital, a corporate finance advisory firm, in which he participated in $300 million in corporate finance transactions, including private placements, IPOs and M&A.

Stephen has served clients and joint-venture partners which include America Online, Metrocall (now USA Mobility), Ralph Edwards Productions (creator of classic TV shows Truth or Consequences and This Is Your Life), and many others.

Prior to working in corporate finance, Stephen was Executive Vice President of Monument Companies, an alternative marketing and event sponsorship agency, where clients included America Online, Hair Cuttery, MBNA (now part of Bank of America) and many others.

Stephen holds a B.A. from George Mason University in Virginia, which he attended on a baseball scholarship.

Colin M.

Colin McClive

Director, Single Family Homes

Colin McClive, a founder and Managing Member of Joseki Ventures, LLC, is a private lender and real estate investor. He is a 29-year veteran of the financial services industry with knowledge and experience across banking, capital markets and insurance. A consistent theme of Colin’s career has been the identification, adoption and application of effective business practices and technologies within financial services. He is now applying his expertise and knowledge to ensuring the success of Joseki Ventures.

As a private banker with Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase), Colin learned the financial and operational dynamics of banking and capital markets – skills he applied as a financial controller and then as head of the Customer Information and Decision Support group within Chemical’s Private Bank. He was a key member of the Chemical Bank team that designed, built and deployed an integrated customer relationship management/customer profitability reporting platform that allowed Chemical’s Private Bank, Middle Marketing Banking and Corporate Bank to garner as much as 75% market share in key markets and produce substantial business profitability.

Following Chemical Bank, Colin established a consulting firm that grew to 70 people with offices in New York, Boston, London, Zurich and Singapore. For nearly 10 years, Colin and his team consulted with and managed projects for many of the world’s leading financial institutions, helping to improve financial controlling, customer profitability and operations analysis systems. His systems and applications have been credited as the source of sustained competitive advantage by many of his customers. Colin has also worked for Microsoft Corporation as a Director in their Financial Services Industry Group.

For the Fund, Colin will be responsible for strategy, fund operations, underwriting operations, loan portfolio management and partner relations.

Colin is a member of the American Association of Private Lenders. He holds a BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Marketing, Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business. He and his wife reside in Stamford, CT.


Pierre Mas

Pierre Mas

Director, ASEAN Markets

Pierre Mas has 12 years’ international experience in Investor Relations advising international groups on strategic cross-national equity and debt transactions (IPOs, take-over bids, bonds and securities issuance)

Pierre started his career with the European institutions(Directorate General Credit & Investment 1995; Parliament 1996) before joining the private sector and advising companies on their Investor Relations and Financial Communications.After bringing French casino operator Moliflor public (1997) he joined Paris-based IR consultancy NewCap (2000)handling IPOs and advising LSE and Nasdaq-listed biotech companies on their strategy. In 2002 he was appointed Director of Investor Relations of the US-French biotechnology company Genset. From 2006 to 2008, he advised the oil &gas operator Maurel & Promfor all matters relating to investor relations and communications.In 2008 Pierre was appointed Director of Investor Relations & External Communications of Swiss reinsurance group PARIS RE and was instrumental in the completion of the M&A transaction with US re-insurer PartnerRe.

Pierre relocated to Singapore in 2012 and set up Momentum, an independent Investor Relations & Communications advisory firm focusing on energy and natural resources sectors. Momentum provides strategic counsel to public and private companies looking to raise their profile among the ASEAN investment community and expand their relationships in the jurisdiction through investor and media relations, industry events and roadshows.

Pierre graduated with a MSc. in Politics from the London School of Economics, a pre-doctoral degree in Law from the University Paris II-Assas and is also Certified Financial Analyst.

French native, Pierre also speaks English and Spanish.


Ray Mitchell

Director, Investment Advisory

Ray Mitchell is a consultant specializing in marketing, management consulting, investment advising, and assists companies with strategic plans. Ray has focused on marketing to pension plans for asset management firms.

Ray was appointed to serve as a trustee by both Governor Roy Romer and Governor Bill Owens. He served on the Colorado Fire and Pension Plan for thirteen years. He was actively involved in the investment decision making process. He has been an invited speaker at many conferences on subjects including investment policy, market neutral strategies, derivatives and asset allocation policies

Ray’s experience as a former real estate broker and manager add to his insights and knowledge base. He has experience as an affiliate professor in the MBA program at Regis University. He teaches International Accounting, Capital Markets, and several advanced accounting classes. Ray was awarded the “Excellence in Teaching Award” in 1997 and 2007 by the MBA students at the university. Ray is the author of “A Step by Step Approach to Business Planning”.

Will Fang

As the Director for International Relations, Will brings 10 years of experience in the general management, market development and product development for top global banking clients and high technology firms in North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Will specializes in Business Development, Negotiation, Cross-Border Transactions, Joint Venture, Strategy Consulting, Key Account Management, Branding and Experience, Executive Education, and Real Estate.

Will served as an executive adviser for Greater China Society, one of the largest regional student clubs at Columbia Business School with over 300 members. The club’s mission for the is to improve professional community for students who have an interest in the Greater China region. This club focuses on three primary initiatives: career development, social activities, and community outreach. Within these initiatives club focus on the China Business Conference, student events (educational, networking, and social) and several Asia treks.

Will holds an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School, a Bachelor Math from the University of Waterloo. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Jackellyn Trinh

Director, Client Management

As Client Management Director for Victoria Global, Jackellyn Trinh is in her element. She has worked with a number of public agencies, professional industries, and athletic organizations, as a representative to develop business and maintain client relationships. She has over 16 years of public relations, marketing, and business development experience; including services such as community outreach, branding, managing and producing agency and corporate events, proposal writing, as-well-as building strong rapports between public agencies, professional consultants, and the local community. Her goal in Victoria Global is to bring relationships together in a strategic and harmonious manner while achieving optimum results.

Jackellyn was the former Western Region Marketing Director at STV and served as a Board of Directors for the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS); where she won the coveted “Member of the Year Award”. Her recent list of projects in the construction industry include working with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority; San Bernardino Associated Governments; Omnitrans; Orange County Transit Authority; Metrolink; Caltrans; Riverside County Transportation Commission; Valley Transportation Authority; Bay Area Rapid Transit; Unified School Districts throughout the nation; and a number of agency departments like public works, purchasing, department of water and power, department of education, department of corrections, department of defense, and many other state local and federal agencies. She was a consultant to the KJE nonprofit organization (an affiliate of the Indianapolis Colts), and the PR Manager for former Detroit Lions linebacker, Caleb Campbell (the first West Point graduate to ever, become drafted into the NFL.) She has served as an athletic director for the last seven years for the Junior All-American Youth Football Leagues and has been on the planning committee for both the Texas vs Nation and the All-Star Classics senior bowl games.

Katrina Semmes

Director, Life Sciences and Healthcare Industries

Katrina Semmes injects into Victoria Global her proven flair and solid reputation in media, public relations, strategic communications and brand management from her experience as KRS Media president. Katrina’s news media experience enables her to guide clients through the vital process of building the public perception for their brands.

Previously, Katrina was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney and UBS Financial Services. As a financial advisor during the credit contraction, Katrina saw first hand how companies dealt with severe change and how they managed their brands with investors and the media.

During her time as a financial advisor, Katrina served as a television financial news expert for News10 (ABC Sacramento) and KCRA (NBC Sacramento). At News10, Katrina produced and was the on-air personality for “Money Mondays,” News10‘s weekly, morning financial information segment. Katrina has also been a frequent guest contributor on KFBK News Radio and on America’s Radio News Network, a nationally-syndicated news radio program.

Before her time in finance, Katrina served in the offices of Governor Gray Davis and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, where she worked as an advocate for small business and then as a program coordinator for the California Emergency Response Team program. Katrina was later appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger to serve as a member of the California Department of Consumer Affairs’ State Board of Optometry.

Katrina has always felt strongly about public service and was proud to be an originator of Senator Sam Blakeslee’s California Senate Resolution 29, a unanimously approved proclamation for human rights awareness in Iran. She serves on the board of directors as a trustee for St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, California. Katrina was also a board member for the Sacramento Public Library Foundation.

Katrina is a graduate of the University of California, Davis and earned an MBA (finance) from Colorado Tech, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Katrina is a lifetime member of the Sigma Beta Delta National Honorary Business Society. As a financial advisor, Katrina held Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, and numerous broker licenses.

Katrina and her husband Will, a government relations consultant, live in the East Bay and work from their offices in Sacramento and San Francisco.

Sylvia Pilar

Director, Client Management

Sylvia Pilar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various industries. The diversity in her work experience has earned her a full spectrum of professionalism, and a wealth of knowledge. Her extensive experience as an independent contractor in real estate, sales and marketing as well as in the arts has enabled Ms. Pilar to apply her diverse talents and accumulated knowledge toward working as an event specialist in numerous venues that require a top notch savvy individual. These special skills are brought in full force to the Victoria Global team as she heads events management in Miami.

Her background in the performing arts and as a model spokesperson provided her with outstanding presentation skills and the confidence to communicate with individuals and audiences of all levels. A profile about Sylvia in New York City’s Real Estate magazine: “Brokers Weekly” referred to her multiple talents as real estate’s “Ultimate Renaissance Woman”.

From 1994 to 2010, Sylvia worked for DJK Residential, corporate relocation and successfully represented sellers, buyers and renters in every neighborhood of Manhattan! She also earned membership to the “DJK Millionaires’ sales club” in 2009. She is also licensed in California which extends her real estate knowledge from coast to coast.

Prior to relocating to New York, she worked as a lab technician in a California Winery and also as an actress and model in film and theater. Her modeling experience brought her to the position Director of Instructors at a San Francisco modeling school. Sylvia’s entrepreneurial spirit, love of art, and flair for fashion & design and was involved as a part owner in L’IDEA, an Italian fashion accessory import company and later in an art gallery, ARTSTAR where she participated in all areas of marketing and management.

Lita Dwight

Director, Legal Services

Lita Dwight is an investment management attorney specializing in hybrid hedge funds, mutual funds and other investment products. She has worked for top tier corporate firms in New York city including Sidley Austin Brown & Wood and Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and has represented such clients as Merrill Lynch, UBS Painewebber and JP Morgan Chase.All these and more come into play in her vital role as Director of Legal Services for Victoria Global.

Lita was one of the first attorneys in Manhattan to introduce the hybrid hedge fund product featuring investment strategies used by the top performing hedge fund managers of 2000. In 2004, she founded Acquis Development Corp specializing in the renovation of historic buildings in Brooklyn and in 2009 co-founded Sterling Green Corp with her business partner focusing on the renovation of mixed use properties in the Hudson Valley. She has successfully converted an 1840’s brownstone to condominium units and an early 20th century post office to an 8 unit mixed use apartment and retail building. She is an avid runner, plays guitar and loves real estate. Lita is a graduate of Davidson College and Georgetown University Law Center. She currently lives in midtown Manhattan.

Caroline Alexa McBride

Director, Food and Beverage

Caroline Alexa McBride’s passion and experience merge together in her role as Director of Food and Beverage for Victoria Global. She leads marketing strategies for clients in these industries who aim to synchronize operational excellence and product and service performance as they grow their business either vertically and horizontally, or both.

Aside from Victoria Global, Caroline Alexa McBride is the Director of Business Development for Serafina Restaurant Group. Her duties include facilitating key aspects of domestic and international expansion and franchising, implementing development and marketing strategies, handling media and press, promoting all ten restaurants in the organization as well as Serafina food products, supervising viral marketing and managing websites on behalf of the New York based company which employs over 850 people.

Caroline is the former Chief Operating Officer of Behind the Burner, an online culinary company featuring expertise from leaders in the food and wine industry while offering promotional commerce opportunities for members. Before joining Behind the Burner, she was a licensed and bonded fundraiser in New York City and raised millions of dollars for local non-profits while at the helm of McBride Capital Campaigns and Events, Inc. McBride earned her B.A. in Political Science at Loyola Marymount University and holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Universiteit van Amsterdam where she studied as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar.

Brandi M. Veil

Director, Corporate Social Responsibility

As a creator of conscious events, Brandi Veil’s focus in Victoria Global is to create a venue and an avenue for companies where their marketing and sales efforts can be transformed into socially empowered ventures and sustainable endeavors.

Her lifelong focus is to fashion a mobile platform as a template for turning mainstream conferences and festivals into a sustainable platform for social, economic and global awareness of key issues. She believes we are at a unique juncture in the world where events and conferences can marshal the attendees into a proactive force who are committed to helping fund and find solutions for sustainability around the globe.

Brandi Veil has committed to being a catalyst in finding solutions for sustainability by reaching and informing a wide audience, creating the spark and impelling people to specific actions. Through her causes and as well as in her innovative work in transformational events and philanthropy, she has defined a new path that will pave the way for others to follow.

Brandi has developed a unique model of combining live and online events and substantive programs targeting the much in-demand 18-35 demographic with integrated education and action steps. Fundamentally, she has recognized that it is not about competing with major music and substantive programming events worldwide, but rather joining with those behind them in creating a new passion for action and pointing them down that path.

Inesa Dayan

Betsy Bascom

Betsy is an entrepreneurial executive with a track record of success in business development and investor relations, working directly with conference organizers and connecting companies to the partners and investors that can help them achieve their potential. As a trusted expert in the conference industry as well as the biotech industry, her strategic planning ability, innovation and passion for her work have established her as a strong business partner.

Betsy has developed an extensive global network in the life science industry that spans key industry stakeholders, venture capital partners, pharmaceutical executives, international associations and government regulators. She is well recognized for her ability to open doors, negotiate and structure strategic alliances and build solid partnerships. Betsy leverages her network on behalf of her clients.

Betsy was a key driver in the growth of BIOTECanada, the nation’s leading professional association representing key players within the biotech sector.

Prior to joining BIOTECanada, Betsy led the Product Development for Umbra Limited, an innovative consumer products company known for its creative house wares. Her skills were previously honed in conference and event management and strategic planning where she led client projects and managed numerous high level professional events from concept through to successful implementation. Betsy’s extensive conference planning experience was focused both locally and internationally.

As the Director of Conference Management at a Communication firm she was responsible for all aspects of conference and hospitality events including concept and strategic development, problem solving, site selection, event planning, marketing, supplier negotiations, budgeting, organizing, implementing and on-site execution.

Betsy’s industry experience is further supported by her education that includes a BA with major in Psychology, MBA with major in Marketing.

In addition to supporting the biotech sector, Betsy has given her time and energy to volunteer engagements including membership on corporate boards (Irwin Toy) as well giving back to her alma mater, Branksome Hall as Board Member and the Rotman School of Management as a Mentor. She supports many non-profit entities including, the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Princess Margaret Hospital.

Amy Wenslow

Director, Consumer Products

Amy Wenslow, an international product expert, captivates audiences with her charismatic style as she shares insights on how to position and produce products that will make millions through high volume sales to home shopping channels and mass merchandisers. With over 21 years experience in product development, sales and management for consumer goods, her success has led to expanding from a North American clientele to an international one, with clients in including countries as far away as Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, India, and the Czech Republic.

Amy is compelled by design specifically for high volume sales. Her career has blended a strong design background with sales mastery and management. For 3 years, she worked as a lead developer on Beverly Hills Gold. During this time, Beverly Hills Gold’s retail sales on QVC were $300 million dollars.

After that success, Amy managed sales teams of up to 24 people responsible for special event sales and corporate accounts including Zales, Helzberg Diamonds, Macy’s and Costco.

In 2006, Amy led a product launch in Wal-Mart with a $1.78 million dollar first order. The product performed so well it earned permanent space. Following quickly on that success, in 2007 Amy headed up development of a product line, Heart and Soul, that sold at Michael’s Craft Stores, Jo-Ann’s and AC Moore. Michael’s sales on Heart and Soul in 2007 were $2.5 million dollars.

Over the span of her career, Amy has worked on products as diverse as surfboards, jewelry, mouthwash, natural cleaning products, clothing and hardware. Individual piece prices ranged from $1.99 up to $32,000 retail.

Dina Abdullah Enriquez

Associate Director, Lifestyle Industries

As Associate Director for Lifestyle Industries, Dina brings a wealth of international experience and exposure to Victoria Global. Her passion for food, travel, hotels, and design brings a sense of dynamism towards achieving Victoria Global’s mission of providing top-notch public and investor relations. Dina Abdullah Enriquez crafted her entire business life of over 25 years around her lifestyle, a result of her diplomatic upbringing.

Her first start-up was a manufacturing concern for European breads and pastries, which she researched in a bakery in Luzern. Dina created her own brand, established a marketing & distribution company, and then grew it to 14 stand-alone outlets in 6 months. She sold the company when made an offer she couldn’t refuse.

Dina moved into retail in Singapore where in 2 years she was able to dominate a very fickle market of consumers through her knowledge of savvy buying and design in fashion accessories.

During the ‘80s hotel boom years, Dina’s creativity discovered hospitality design realm as both designer and supplier of furniture and interior items. She found herself working with factories all over Asia. She expanded her business by representation of major US hospitality textile brands; that strengthened her strategy to stay competitive as well as complete 25+ hotel projects.

During the start of AFC, Dina being agile, she switched gears to start an Asian private dining company. Her organizational skills in kitchen and restaurant design were sought after by clients who wanted to start Asian-themed food businesses which she conceptualized.

This led Dina towards journalism, as contributing lifestyle editor for a magazine to write articles for top Asian luxury magazines. At this point, social media was in its infancy, and she embraced it as she saw the future of all businesses.

Dina has a consultancy for design marketing strategy and hotel development properties in Asia Pacific. She still writes—her most recent feature was in a private jet magazine—and keeps her social media links about food through Twitter, Pinterest, and a YouTube channel.

In 2013, she started Aprava Tech East, with focus on security and surveillance, as a founder partner. Aprava Tech East recognizes the magnitude for improved global security and is committed to providing technologies that change the game towards ‘keeping the world safe.’

Dina’s advocacy is to stop child trafficking and help abused and disadvantaged children for their right to an education. She supports the Yellow Boat Foundation, which assists children to get to school on outrigger boats in the coastal islands of the Philippines.

It is her dream to establish a network for EFT / tapping as a form of healing, and to establish an educational platform that teaches mindfulness, well-being, health and fitness to elevate the potential for living a complete life at the grass roots level around the Philippines.


Jennifer M. Cook

Jennifer Cook has 20 years of B2B marketing experience from small – medium – to Fortune 100 businesses, with a strong background of strategic planning, communications, branding and awareness building, and development of marketing campaigns to tactical execution. Jenn uses break through innovative strategies to drive new markets and transformation. She has lead the projects and directed the teams that have made impactful changes across many vertical industries. Jenn was co-founder for a children’s learning development company, Budding Brilliance, during which she worked on the entrepreneurial venture through the stages of business plan development, from initial market research through presenting to the investor community. She had primary involvement from 2003-2010, and was dedicated full time in 2007.
Jenn earned her MBA from Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business, a BS from Eastern Michigan University and has 12 years of high technology experience, over six years with Intel Corporation, working with Fortune 500 partners developing marketing and sales campaigns to drive incremental revenue. She has been both in the dental and medical device industry, developing plans and strategies for creating marketing awareness and driving adoption for new products and solutions. She has developed strategic relationships with marquee hardware and software companies, including: Intel, Dell, HP, IBM, SAP, Halliburton, SAS, Dassault, McKesson, VMWare from SMB to the Enterprise across all geographies. Brad Chun

As the Director for Bitcoin Strategies, Brad is helping to design an appropriate regulatory framework around Bitcoin adoption and use for Victoria Global. He also assists companies with Bitcoin-related PR and provides strategy consulting for businesses and government agencies looking to leverage Bitcoins in their present workflows.

In the past, Brad helped to develop SOx 404 accounting controls at GE Capital, lead global EMEA equity trading and compliance at Deutsche Bank – Equitech, and managed trade operations at Reservoir Capital across a multitude of asset classes.

Brad started his career as a technologist in 1997 working with multiple start-ups in Honolulu, Silicon Valley, Boston, and New York. Brad earned his B.S. from Boston College in 2002 with concentrations in Computer Science, Finance, and Strategic Operations Management. He also received his M.S. Finance from Pace University in 2010. His diverse experience in IT, Capital Markets finance, and compliance gives him a unique understanding of new capital market mechanisms.

Early on his career, Steve was an investment banker in both the corporate finance and technology investment banking groups at Merrill Lynch, in New York and San Francisco. He executed transactions in equity, debt, and structured convertible securities totaling $2.4B in transaction value.

Steve holds an MBA from Stanford Business School and a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
